At the End of Time

Death is a central event in the life of an organism; it is part of our own existence. Its concept is a key to human understanding of the phenomenon. “At the end of time” deals with brain death, as practiced in medical science. Based on the neurobiological processes which take place during death, the installation represents an attempt to create the sense of the way they are being perceived by human consciousness.

We die alone. We have always been alone. The project deals with loneliness as a fundamental part of the human condition, as the essence of human existence.
